Describing Kashmir as the 'jugular vein' of Pakistan, president of Pakistan occupied Kashmir, Raja Zulqarnain has criticised the government for not including any Kashmiri in the senate's standing committee on Kashmir.
Pakistan wants the early resolution of the Kashmir issue according to the aspirations of the Kashmiri people, as this is imperative for lasting peace in the region, Pakistan Prime Minister Yousuf Raza Gilani said on Monday.
During a meeting with Pakistan-occupied-Kashmir "president" Raja Zulqarnain Khan and "prime minister" Raja Muhammad Farooq Haider, Gilani said, Pakistan will "continue to support the just cause of the people of Kashmir."
Foreign Office spokesperson tweeted that India violated the ceasefire agreement in Tandar, Sabzkot, Khuiratta, Baron, Bagsar and Khanjar areas.
